Description
Historical resident pilgrimage to India, Karnataka accompanied by Paramahamsa Vishwananda.
Let the land’s deep spiritual heritage and the Master’s grace open your heart to the Divine on this historic pilgrimage.
Guruji will be with us for 10 days of pilgrimage.
Be prepared to visit temples and ancient sacred sites, all alive and vibrant with the love of God
Some journeys are special not because of how far we travel, but because of who we share them with. This pilgrimage to India is such a journey.
For the first time, devotees from Bhakti Marga ashrams all over the world are coming together to travel with our beloved Master, Paramahamsa Vishwananda.
We come from many different countries and backgrounds, yet it is His love that brings us together as one spiritual family. Traveling, praying, and discovering sacred places side by side with Guruji is a beautiful opportunity to grow closer to Him, to each other, and to the Divine in our own hearts.

A Land of Ancient Civilizations and Living Spirituality
The west coast of India, stretching from Goa down through coastal Karnataka to Udupi, offers a unique blend of lush tropical nature and deep-rooted tradition. Along this journey, you’ll encounter palm-lined beaches, vibrant green landscapes shaped by the nearby Western Ghats, and quiet villages where life flows in harmony with the rhythms of nature and the sea.
A central highlight of the pilgrimage is the profound spiritual presence that permeates the land, culminating at the sacred Udupi Krishna Temple. Here, devotion is not just practiced but lived, offering a deeply authentic experience of India’s living spirituality—where temples are vibrant centers of energy, and the sacred is woven into every aspect of everyday life.
Food & Daily Life
The people of this region are known for their warmth, simplicity, and strong connection to cultural and spiritual traditions. As you travel south, the atmosphere gradually shifts from the relaxed, international feel of Goa into a more traditional and devotional way of life, where daily routines are naturally infused with prayer, ritual, and community.
Food throughout the pilgrimage will be vegan/vegetarian.
You can expect an abundance of vegetarian food, with many naturally vegan options—especially as you move toward temple regions like Udupi, which is famous for its sattvic, plant-based cuisine. Traditional meals often include rice, lentils (dal), vegetable curries, coconut-based dishes, and fresh fruits, with many preparations already free from meat and eggs. While dairy (like ghee or yogurt) is commonly used, vegan requests are generally understood and can often be accommodated, particularly in simple local eateries and temple kitchens, where food is prepared with purity and care, aligning beautifully with a conscious or spiritual lifestyle.
