Description
“Communion with the Saints is the road of freedom.”
— Swami Vishwananda
Enter on a seven-day journey of transformation and love, with the saints loved by Paramahamsa Vishwananda.
Be part of an intimate group of only 14 participants. This retreat unfolds in the tranquil and picturesque French countryside of Provence, in the Divine Home of the Satya Yuga Saligram (gifted by Paramahamsa Vishwananda in 2021), a place blessed by the presence of many saints.
Each saint has walked a unique path, and offers a unique gift of love to our hearts. The saints faced many obstacles, but their lives have been full of divine love. They remain living sources of inspiration, teaching us how to live in unconditional love, and surrender. Paramahamsa Vishwananda says: “The state of surrender, that is what I wish for everybody to achieve.”
The Experience:
- Deep encounters with the wisdom and living presence of the saints through guided contemplations
- Moments of silence and inner exploration to deepen personal experience
- A nurturing space for authentic sharing, reflection, and heartfelt connection
- Transformative rituals and sadhana to anchor insights into daily life
- Restorative moments in the serene natural beauty of South France
- An intimate group journey that supports personal depth and genuine connection
- Opportunities to integrate the qualities of devotion, love, and surrender into your own path
Relaxed, devotional, dynamic and transformational, this inner pilgrimage, open only to 14 people, will be hosted by Rishi Dantadas and Sarvamayi. Rishi Dantadas who has guided many pilgrimages with Swami Vishwananda, and Sarvamayi who travels widely to bring the blessings of Swami Vishwananda to sanghas.
Throughout the retreat, there will also be opportunities for personal guidance and one-to-one dialogues with the teachers.
This retreat has been timed before “Soul Awakening” Program and Paramahamsa Vishwananda’s birthday, as a gift of transformation for His birthday.
Join us in this blessed home in Provence visited on multiple occasions by Paramahamsa Vishwananda for what will be a truly unique and transformational inner pilgrimage – a gentle yet powerful journey into the living love of the saints.

“Sharing the saints, and bringing their joy is a great joy for me, and has been part of my seva with Guruji for several years. I look forward to sharing the saints with you.” – Rishi Dantadas Ananda
Paramahamsa Vishwananda found me in Paris in 2001, where I was exploring my love for God, the saints and the Orthodox church. I had no idea at that stage of the profound effect He would have on my life.
Meeting Him, it was easy to recognise the uniqueness of this young man, who transmitted an extraordinary wisdom and a deep love for God and His saints.
However, many years of life in the world were necessary before I was ready to connect with Him more deeply and with my higher purpose. When I finally came to the ashram as resident in 2019, He said to me, ‘You have been running from this dharma for years’.
But years in the world proved key to how I would serve Him. In these years, I taught many refugees from around the world who touched me with their stories and gave me an appreciation for each person’s unique journey, and how lives can change with the right input.
When I became a devotee, my life took a new direction and meaning. I began to realise we are all refugees in the world, searching. Only He and love for God can truly fill us.
In me, was awakened something deeper, that I had been looking for in the world, but never found. What He gives is beyond the world, and fills us to the point that we need to share it.
The saints have been around me since then, in a special way. They are part of the air of Shree Peetha Nilaya, quitely supporting. Their stories and their presence have helped me connect more deeply to the purpose of my path. They are like little lamps shining grace into our minds and hearts, helping Guruji to transform us.
Sarvavamayi Dasi
Sarvavamayi Dasi met Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda and became a devotee in 2018. Since 2021, by the Grace of our Beloved Gurudev she is SatyaNarayan Saligram caretaker.
She has been travelling to the Bhakti Marga ashrams offering retreats and sharing with love her amazing experiences and realizations living by His side in Sriman Narayan Niwasthan.
Participants
If these words resonate with you, this retreat may be the right place for you:
In today’s world, many of us feel the pace of life accelerating — constant stimulation, pressure, and a subtle sense of disconnection from ourselves, from meaning, and from the quiet voice of the heart. Where earlier generations naturally turned to faith, prayer, and the guidance of the saints, we often find ourselves searching again for that same grounding and inner stability.
By reconnecting with their stories, their presence, and their example, we rediscover a source of strength and grace that helps us navigate the demands of modern life with more clarity, resilience, compassion, and joy. Their lives become a mirror, reminding us that the qualities our world longs for — kindness, devotion, patience, and true inner freedom — are still alive and accessible within us.
Jai Gurudev, we look forward to working together on our inner transformation!
Location & Accommodation
Our retreat takes place at Domaine Le Capelier, a peaceful and blessed place in the heart of Provence, surrounded by unspoiled nature and a quiet, gentle landscape. The Domaine lies close to a small river and a protected natural reserve, offering many quiet paths and corners to walk, sit, and simply breathe. In spring, the Provençal countryside shows itself in its most beautiful and nourishing atmosphere.
Beyond its natural beauty, this land carries a deep spiritual presence. It is home to the Sriman Narayan Shaligram from Satya Yuga, as well as a small Lakshmi Narayana Temple and a Christian chapel with relics of many saints and a Black Madonna. For many years, this place has been blessed by the visits, prayers, and retreats of Gurudev and countless devotees, and it is also known as Sriman Narayan Niwasthan — the Abode of Lord Sriman Narayana.
There is a quiet depth here that is difficult to describe in words. Many people feel a sense of being held and nourished simply by spending time on the land. The nearby river, in which Gurudev has personally bathed, is for many a place of silence, prayer, and inner renewal.
The accommodation is spread across the old Provençal buildings of the estate. The rooms are simple, individual, and full of character — some more rustic, others more fully renovated — all offering a calm and comfortable place to rest and integrate between the retreat sessions. The focus here is not on luxury, but on authenticity, simplicity, and a peaceful atmosphere that supports inner work.
Domaine Le Capelier is lovingly cared for by a small, dedicated team who see this place not just as a retreat center, but as a living spiritual home. With great devotion and attention, they take care of the temples, the land, and everyone who comes to stay here. Many guests feel that they are not arriving at a hotel, but rather being welcomed into a family. This spirit of personal care and heartfelt presence is an essential part of what makes this place so special.
✈️ How to Get There
For international travellers, the most convenient airport is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE). From there, Domaine Le Capelier is about one hour by car. You can take a taxi directly from the airport or use other car‑transfer services.
It is also possible to travel part of the way by train. From Nice, regional trains (TER Provence‑Alpes‑Côte d’Azur) run toward Les Arcs–Draguignan, a well‑connected station on the Marseille–Ventimiglia line, with services to and from Nice, Marseille and Toulon. From there it is a short taxi or local connection to Vidauban and the Domaine.
There is also a smaller stop at Vidauban itself served by regional services, but because trains in this area are limited, we recommend checking and booking connections in advance if you plan to arrive by public transport.
For those travelling by car, detailed directions will be provided, and the Domaine team will gladly support you with route guidance.
